Programming Smartphones for the Benefit of the Community 2013-2014

feed.me was created as part of the "Programming Smartphones for the benefit of the community" workshop at TAU's Blavatnik school of computer science in the 2013-2014 fall semester.

The workshop, conducted in cooperation with Microsoft, invites students to create Windows Phone 8 apps that will address various social needs and challanges. During the workshop the students get familiar with Microsoft technilogies, experience hands-on programming, and are encourged to explore real world challanges and the way smartphones can deal with them.
Eventually each group creates a Windows Phone 8 app that addresses their issue of choice.

The workshop was directed by Prof. Yehuda Afek, Mr. Hillel Avni & Mr. Eyal Carmel.
